West Feliciana Historical Society's celebration of the rich history in St. Francisville and the surrounding parish, including impeccably restored homes, planatations, gardens. Named for artist and naturalist John James Audubon, who moved to the parish in 1821 and painted a great number of his Birds of America series during his stay, the pilgrimage includes tours of local gardens, plantations and private homes; period costumes, dances, and music; and evening events.
